How measurements are taken--
All measurements are taken of the SHIRT lying flat.  These shirts are all different brands and sizing can vary quite a bit between brands. The size on the tag is just a guideline.  I encourage you to measure a favorite fitting shirt to determine what size and measurements to look for in my selection.
Shoulders - Across the top from sleeve seem to sleeve seem
Chest - Armpit to armpit
Sleeves - From the center of the back to the tip of the sleeve
Length -  Down the back from the base of the collar to the bottom
 
 
All of my clothing is machine washable.  I recommend a cool gentle cycle, and to avoid the dryer.  If you happen to forget, it will be ok!
